People are dumb. But I still try to talk to them like they're smart on a one-on-one basis. Benefit of the doubt. This ends up in me being disappointed and them being confused, more often than not.
Occasionally, I'll smart-talk to someone who can smart-talk back, and then I know I found a friend.
Or am I the one who's dumb, and the dumb ones are smart, and we're not speaking the same language? If so, then all my friends are dumb as well.
If you're my friend, please tell me: which are you?
dumb days when I feel like I've arrived from another planet and can't understand anything that is going on around me.
I've noticed this occurs when, for whatever reason, on days that I have a erratic attention span.
I miss your smart-ass diss'n of people and things though!
A bunch of us are going to see this in a couple weeks:
(scroll down a bit till you reach the Dorian Gray part and keep scrolling for cast pics! Jef Valentine, playing Basil is a friend of mine. He should be great in that role.)
and I SO wish you could be here to join us! This is my favorite Oscar Wilde piece ever! And the guy playing Dorian Gray is beauteous! I hope he acts as good as he looks!
Wish you were here to partake...
I'm a fucking genius, so you must be too. Unless I'm self deluded, and that would make us both morons. But I don't think so. I think we're in the small minority off people in this country who DON'T think that Sarah Palin makes a good leader/mother/anything. maybe a good door stop or cannon fodder.
