I Will Not Defame New Orleans.

August Flee-Fest, Part II

August in New Orleans? Just can't do it.

I was home for three days after our Euro-jaunt and the oppressive heat and humidity was depressing even me, who enjoys hot and humid like a crazy person.

So. Friday, right? Greetings from Lake Keuka in central New York state. I just spent an hour on a floaty raft-chair-thing tethered to the end of the dock reading my trash book, feet idly kicking in the cool lake water.

Aunt Kim, this morning: "Gonna be hot today. Mid-80s, they say."
Me, with coffee spurting from the nose: "BWAH-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!"
